Question 01

Where do I park if I’m paying for daily or hourly parking?

You can park in any unreserved parking spot on level P1. If you are paying for daily or hourly parking, do not park in the spots on level P2 that have signs that say “Reserved for Emily Carr”. These reserved spots are for community members that pay for monthly or term parking.

Question 02

Can I park in any Reserved for Emily Carr spot if I’m paying for daily parking?

No. You must park in an unreserved parking spot on level P1.

Question 03

How do I purchase a parking pass?

You can purchase monthly or term parking by filling out a Request Service. Staff and Faculty pay for parking through monthly payroll deductions.

Temporary staff and sessional instructors can purchase monthly or term parking by filling out a Request Service and then paying in advance at the Cashier/Student Payments Office, located at Financial Services by the East Sculpture Gallery Level 2 on the east side of the building. Students can pay for term parking after completing a Request Service and receiving an email that parking is available.

Parking fees can be paid through the payment terminal located in the parking lot or on the app.

Question 05

I’m a sessional instructor, can I get free parking?

There is no free parking available.

Question 06

Question 07

How do I update my registered vehicle?

Question 08

What if I’m driving a different vehicle?

Let us know you are driving a different vehicle by completing a Request Service so we can register your vehicle with the parking lot management.

Instructions for paying your parking ticket will be printed on the parking ticket. If you believe you were ticketed in error please complete a Request Service and include the ticket number and the location where you parked.
