Glyphs: Installation and Activation

Eligibility

Students currently registered in COMD 420 - Type Design.

 

Step 1: Download the Glyphs app on your personal macOS device

Step 2: Unzip the Glyphs app

Unzip the Glyphs app using the built-in macOS tool Archive Utility.

Step 3: Move Glyphs to Applications

Move the extracted Glyphs 3.app folder to your macOS Applications folder.

Step 4: Open Glyphs one time

Right-click the app and choose Open from the top of its context menu:

Step 5: Double-click your Glyphs license file

After double clicking the file provided by ECU, a dialog should appear:
