Objective: This guide provides a step-by-step overview of how non-regular faculty can use the RQW portal to create a profile, review qualifications for courses, and submit teaching applications. It aims to help faculty navigate the system confidently, from signing in to understanding how applications are reviewed by HR and the hiring committee.

2. Signing in
- Navigate to https://rqw.ecuad.ca to sign in. You will be prompted to enter in your ECUAD email credentials

NOTE:

3. Dashboard Overview
After signing in, you’ll see several key sections.
Sections on Dashboard:
- Bio / Profile

- Edit About Me’. Add core knowledge/expertise and other facts you feel like need to be seen.
- Upload files or add links (LinkedIn, portfolio, certifications).

- This will be visible to HR and hiring committee only.
- Qualifications
- You can search for the course you’re interested in teaching by faculty or course name. Use the Search bar to look up specific courses or select the Filter button to narrow your results.


- Draft Applications

- Faculty can save applications and continue later. Drafts are private.
4. Application Submission
Step-by-Step:
- Select New Review Request



- In the Choose Courses box please search the courses you want to teach. You can choose more than one

- Check qualifications required using the accordion.


- Criteria: Knowledge, Education, Training, Experience.
- Fill in the Knowledge, Education, Training and Experience boxes with your relevant experience

- Add supporting files or links to your review request.

- Save as draft or submit.
Notes:
- Faculty do not need to reapply each term unless they gain new qualifications they’d like to add.
- Pre-Qualified Courses: Automatically added to QTT list. Scheduling office uses this list along with seniority to assign courses.
5. Responding to Requests for Additional Information
In some cases, the hiring committee may need more information or additional documents to complete their review of your application.
- You will receive an email notification from the RQW portal indicating that more information is required.
- The email contains a link to the portal where you can view the specific request.

- Log in to the portal and navigate to the requested application.

- Upload the additional documents or provide the requested information in the corresponding fields.
- Resubmit the updated application to ensure it moves forward in the review process.
6. Application Lifecycle
- HR Review: Completeness of documents checked.
- Hiring Committee Review: Evaluates applications based on bio, qualifications, and previous submissions.
- Faculty Notifications: Updates, additional information requests, decisions.
