Thank you for your interest in student housing through Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
Emily Carr University has partnered with GEC Living, one of Canada's largest providers of purpose-built student accommodation, to offer furnished, community-oriented housing options for eligible students in Vancouver at GEC Kingsway, 4589 Gladstone St, Vancouver, BC V5N 0H6. Through this partnership, students have access to safe, professionally managed residences designed specifically for ECU students, with flexible lease terms that align with the academic year.
Accommodation is available in a variety of room types, and photos / videos are available on GEC's website (click here to view). Current rates begin at $1,250 per month for shared accommodations and under $1,800 per month for private rooms, including furnishings, utilities, Wi-Fi, and access to on-site amenities. The building is located near rapid transit, providing convenient access to campus (included with your UPass).
This application allows Student Services to assess your eligibility, understand your housing needs and preferences, and determine the most appropriate placement based on availability. Should you have questions before completing the application, please reach out to us at housingsupport@ecuad.ca.
